چکیده
A type of photothermal biocompatible organic nanoparticles with a high PCE (40.6%) was developed and investigated, followed by the achievement significantly more effective phototheranostic dental hypersensitivity treatment combined laser.

Photothermal Energy Conversion by Plasmonic Nanoparticles
Photothermal Energy Conversion by Plasmonic Nanoparticles By Joseph Raymond Cole Photothermal energy conversion is important when designing optically active devices based on plasmonic nanoparticles. Many early applications of these nanoparticles, like photothermal tumor ablation, drug delivery, and microfiuidic devices, depend on the conversion of light to heat. In this dissertation, we compare...
متن کاملDentin Hypersensitivity: Etiology, Prevalence and Treatment Modalities
Dentin hypersensitivity is a very common clinical symptom, which consists of sharp pain arising from exposed dentin in response to various types of stimuli and thus can cause considerable concern for patients. This condition is frequently encountered by periodontists, dentists and hygienists. The management of this condition requires good understanding of the complexity of the problem, as well ...
متن کاملDentin Hypersensitivity and Its Treatments: A Literature Review
The aim of this review study is to increase information about dentin hypersensitivity, its etiology and treatments. For data collection we used PUBMED to find relevant articles. Then using the obtained articles and relevant text books, we attempted to sort this information according to etiology, prevalence and available treatment options.
متن کاملTowards Effective Photothermal/Photodynamic Treatment Using Plasmonic Gold Nanoparticles
Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) of different size and shape are widely used as photosensitizers for cancer diagnostics and plasmonic photothermal (PPT)/photodynamic (PDT) therapy, as nanocarriers for drug delivery and laser-mediated pathogen killing, even the underlying mechanisms of treatment effects remain poorly understood. There is a need in analyzing and improving the ways to increase accumulat...
متن کاملClinical dentin hypersensitivity: understanding the causes and prescribing a treatment.
Dentin hypersensitivity is a common condition of transient tooth pain associated with a variety of exogenous stimuli. There is substantial variation in the response to such stimuli from one person to another. Except for sensitivity associated with tooth bleaching or other tooth pathology, the clinical cause of dentin hypersensitivity is exposed dentinal tubules as a result of gingival recession...
